Fight To Survive World Championship Trading Cards

The official cards of the championship

Coming soon. The cards are not on sale yet.

What the cards are

The Fight To Survive World Championship is a digital collectible card line and a competitive card game built on real, verified combat sport athletes.

Every Fighter card is a real fighter who has registered with Fight To Survive and had their record verified. Nothing is invented about a real person: every card shows the fighter's verified career, with their discipline, weight class, record or title line and a Verified mark.

The game plays like a real fight: rounds, gas tanks, corners, cuts, knockdowns and judges. It is built for people who train and fight, and gives fans a way to follow and support real athletes. When a fighter's verified career changes, for example a new title, their card is updated for every owner.

The game comes first on the web for desktop and mobile browsers, followed by iOS and Android apps sharing one account, one collection and one ladder. A standard bout lasts about 6 to 9 minutes. This card line is digital; Physical Trading Cards are listed as coming soon in the shop.

Skill over spend: a card's tier reflects the fighter's real career, not the player's wallet, and every gameplay card can be earned through play.

The rules

Six fighter stats

Every Fighter card has six stats on a 1 to 10 scale, calculated from the verified record and discipline.

  • Power hitting power, adds damage to landed strikes
  • Speed hand and foot speed, decides who acts first
  • Technique accuracy and skill, striking and grappling
  • Defence guard, footwork and head movement
  • Stamina the gas tank for each round
  • Heart chin, durability and will; sets Condition and corner recovery

Five tiers

For Fighter cards the tier is earned by the real fighter, not rolled. A card is issued at the highest tier the verified career supports, and upgrades automatically if the fighter earns more for real.

  • Prospect registered, verified, 3+ verified bouts
  • Contender 10+ verified bouts or a verified regional title
  • Elite verified national title, major stadium or promotion title, or 25+ verified bouts with a winning record
  • Legend verified continental or international title, or 50+ verified pro bouts with a winning record
  • World Champion a verified world title

The stat gap from Prospect to World Champion is small, so a Prospect deck can beat a World Champion deck with better play.

Card types

  • Fighter a real registered fighter; exactly one per deck
  • Corner real trainers, cutmen and ring crew who help between rounds
  • Technique strikes, grapples, submissions, defences and counters tied to a discipline
  • Training one shot preparation effects such as Pad Work or Film Study
  • Gear equipment with a small benefit paired with a small cost
  • Event shared venue, rule set, crowd, referee and judge conditions, never in a player's deck

Building a deck

  • 1 Fighter
  • Up to 2 Corner cards (at most 1 Head Trainer)
  • Up to 2 Gear cards
  • Exactly 30 fight cards (Technique and Training)
  • All within a Purse of 60 points: higher tier cards cost more Purse
  • Techniques outside your fighter's disciplines cost 1 extra Gas

The bout

  • Standard bout: 3 rounds. Title bout: 5 rounds. Each round has 3 exchanges.
  • Each exchange both players secretly choose an attack, a defence or counter and any Training cards, then reveal at the same time.
  • Speed decides who acts first; Technique against Defence decides a clean hit, a partial hit or a miss.
  • Gas refills each round; Condition is your health; a big single hit causes a knockdown.
  • Between rounds the Corner Phase lets you recover, use Corner abilities, adjust your hand, and the ringside doctor checks cuts.
  • Three judges score every round on the 10 point must system, each with a different focus: damage, effective aggression, and technique and control.

How a bout is won

  • KO the opponent's Condition reaches 0
  • TKO three knockdowns in one round, a doctor stoppage for cuts, or the towel is thrown in
  • Submission under MMA rules only
  • Decision after the final round: unanimous, split or majority on the judges' scorecards
  • Draw when no fighter wins a majority of the scorecards

Rule sets include Striking, MMA, Boxing, Kyokushin and Lethwei, set by the venue for each bout.
